Hon. Rex Gatchalian

Congressman Rex Gatchalian currently serves as the representative of the first district of Valenzuela in the House of Representatives. Prior to his assumption of his congressional role, Rex served as the mayor of Valenzuela City and had also served as a congressman under the 14th and 15th Congress.

In the private sector, Gatchalian served as the President of Waterfront Hotel and Casino, and served in the board of several companies.

He graduated cum laude from the George Washington University with a bachelor’s in political science, with secondary fields of study on Marketing and Psychology.
