Dr. Glennda Estores Canlas has been involved in the maritime medicine industry for more than 26 years.
She is an accredited physician for Belgium, China, Denmark, France, MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency), Norway, OGUK (Oil and Gas UK), Sweden, Panama and the Netherlands. Dr. Canlas is the President and Founder of Halcyon Marine Healthcare Systems and Ship to Shore Medical Assist, both divisions of Halcyon Health Network.
Halcyon is accredited by various P&I clubs: American Club, British Marine, Gard, Dutch, Japan P&I Club, Lodestar, North of England, Steamship Mutual, Thomas Miller/ UK P&I, The Standard P&I Club, Skuld P&I Club, the Swedish P&I Club and West of England.
Dr. Canlas is currently a member of the technical committee for the writing of the International Medical Guide for Seafarers and Fishers to be published by the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS).
