Mr. Carl Martin Faannessen has worked in the maritime industry and in renewables throughout his career – not realizing at first that these would eventually overlap. Mr. Faannessen started his career in Maersk, moved to renewables for 6 years and then back to shipping and now enjoys working in the increasing overlap between the two industries. He is a Senior Business Developer in Scatec, focusing on offshore wind in the Philippines and on green molecules to help decarbonize shipping. He also owns stakes in companies in the maritime sector, and continues to enjoy working with these issues from his current base here in the Philippines.
